Mrs. Kelly Koerner has served the School District of the City of York since 2009. She began her career in the school district teaching 4th grade at Davis Pre-K-8. She also spent time teaching at Devers Pre-K-8 and Edgar Fahs Smith Middle School. In 2015, Mrs. Koerner was given the opportunity to become an Assistant Principal and continues to enjoy her role as an Administrator serving as the current Principal at Goode Pre-K-8.
Mrs. Koerner spent all her childhood in New Jersey, where she graduated from Caldwell University, with her Elementary Education, Music and Multidisciplinary Studies Degree. During her time in college, Mrs. Koerner played soccer and was a member of the music department. She attended Cabrini University and received her Master of Education and Principal Certification. Mrs. Koerner is currently working on her Doctorate at Bowie State University.
Mrs. Koerner has a passion for helping our students succeed and enjoys advocating for them in the city of York. She lives in York with her husband Chris, and her two daughters, Erica and Kaitlyn.
Mrs. Koerner enjoys being part of the Bearcat family and always looks forward to being a cheerleader for all of our students in York City.
