Kijuan D. Felder, a proud product of the School District of Lancaster, is a distinguished educator with a robust academic background. He is an alumnus of Millersville University and Cabrini College, where he laid the foundation for his impactful career in education. Mr. Felder embarked on his professional journey in 2002 at John Piersol McCaskey East High School, where he began shaping young minds as an English teacher.
Over the years, Mr. Felder has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to education within the School District of Lancaster, teaching English Language Arts to students from seventh to eleventh grade. His dedication and expertise led him to the School District of the City of York, where he took on the role of Administrator of the Freshman Academy at William Penn Senior High School, affectionately known as "York High."
After five productive years at "The High," Mr. Felder ascended to the position of Head Principal at McKinley "Magic" Pre-K-8. He has held this leadership role for the past five years, driving educational excellence and fostering a nurturing learning environment. Concurrently, Mr. Felder is diligently working towards completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership and Technology at Bowie State University, further exemplifying his commitment to advancing educational practices and leadership.
